The Hebden Bridge Wordstone
Working with Simon Armitage and young writers from Calderdale
The Wordstone at Hebden Bridge has been carved by Pip Hall on stones reinstalled at the riverside in Hebden town centre after they’d been dislodged and almost during the floods in 2012.
They were unveiled during the wonderful Hebden Bridge Arts Festival in 2013 at a special event with readings from Simon Armitage and some of Calderdale Young Writers. The stones will remain in Hebden for everyone to enjoy for years to come.
