“It’s quite, like, amazing really because it’s not like every day you hear that there’s an Olympic someone who’s won loads of medals and he’s been born in Brigg and we’re living where a hero was born. It kind of makes you feel like he was born in Brigg just as a normal boy and he became that and I could as well. Because we’ve just been born in Brigg normal and we could become amazing too.”
– Cycle Song participant
“You have woken us all up from a deep sleep! with the steel works closing and everyone feeling low. This has made us think want we can do as a community!” – Audience member
“All I have heard today from people in the audience… WE’RE SO PROUD TO HAVE SOMETHING LIKE THIS IN OUR TOWN!! Awesome, thank you so much for putting it together… So proud to be a performer!” – Cycle Song participant
